Curriculum

How our technical analysis training builds from reading market structure to sizing risk and journaling invalidation.

This page maps the teaching sequence used in the Chart Structure Risk Workshop and echoed in shorter form during Evening Structure Labs. It is not a self-paced syllabus; modules are delivered live with instructor markup.

1. Structure literacy

Swing highs and lows, higher-high / higher-low sequences, range boundaries, and what counts as a break of structure versus noise inside a range. Participants mark levels on shared charts before any size calculation begins.

2. Invalidation language

Turning a drawn level into a sentence: the exact close, wick, or break that ends the idea. Ambiguous structure is treated as a reason to wait, not as a reason to tighten a stop arbitrarily.

3. Distance to risk

Measuring points or ticks from planned entry to the invalidation line. Comparing that distance across timeframes so a daily swing stop is not accidentally applied to a five-minute entry.

4. Size from cash risk

Choosing a cash amount you can lose if invalidation hits, then dividing by distance to get shares or lots. Practised with worksheets using each participant’s own risk figure.

5. Post-session risk log

A short journal format: structure sketch, invalidation sentence, size, and whether the stop was moved. Used after workshops and recommended as ongoing practice between labs.

How to use this map

New traders usually start with the flagship workshop, then reinforce with an evening lab. Traders with an urgent open idea may begin with a one-to-one chart review, then join a workshop for the full sizing practice.
