Lesson
Chart Structure Risk Workshop
A half-day workshop that turns swing highs, swing lows, and breaks of structure into stop distances, position sizes, and clear invalidation rules.
Who this is for
Active discretionary traders who already recognise support, resistance, and swing points, yet still size positions from a flat percentage — or move stops because the chart “felt” wrong. You do not need a formal finance background. You do need willingness to work on printed and live charts during the session.
What you walk away with
By the end of the afternoon you will have practised:
- Measuring stop distance from the nearest relevant structure (swing, range edge, or break level), not from a round number.
- Converting that distance into share or lot size for a fixed cash risk you choose in advance.
- Writing an invalidation sentence before entry: the exact chart condition that means the idea is finished.
- Standing aside when structure is ambiguous instead of forcing a trade into a messy range.
What is included
- Live instruction with annotated charts (indices, major FX pairs, and selected Taiwan-listed equities).
- Printed worksheet pack for stop distance and size calculations.
- One follow-up email review of a chart you submit within fourteen days of the workshop.
- Light refreshments at the Kaohsiung studio.
What is not included
- Broker account setup, order routing help, or trade execution on your behalf.
- Signals, alerts, or a running watchlist after the workshop.
- Tax, legal, or portfolio allocation advice.
How the day runs
- Structure first (75 min) — Higher highs, higher lows, range boundaries, and breaks that actually change the bias.
- Risk from the bars (90 min) — Stop placement exercises on historical charts; sizing math with your own risk amount.
- Invalidation & journaling (60 min) — Pre-trade rules and a short post-session risk log format.
- Open charts (45 min) — Participants bring one current idea; the group stress-tests structure and risk.
Provider & delivery
Sessions are led by AI Workflow Digital instructors in Kaohsiung. Online seats join by video with the same worksheet pack mailed in advance when requested. Group size stays small so every participant can mark levels on the shared screen.
Preparation
Bring: a notebook, a calculator or phone, and one chart of a market you actually trade (printed or on a tablet). Optional: your typical cash risk per idea written down before you arrive.
Constraints
Workshops assume you can follow English instruction. Markets used as examples are for teaching chart structure; past price paths are not forecasts. Seats are limited; deposits hold a place — see our refund policy.
